MENUS

Dining:
breakfast and snacks

BREAKFAST is served in our exquisite, antique dining room from 7 AM – 10 AM from our banquet buffet.
Come in, visit and have coffee drawn from the fresh brewed urn while breakfast is prepared.
The kitchen, stove and frig is for Staff ONLY. For your convenience, a refrigerator and Kuerig is in each room and on our service stations.
However, the coffee/ snack bar is available 24/7. Please be aware of our quiet time with loud conversation and noise after 10 PM when others may be sleeping. Cups in your room and on our bar are provided for coffee on the road. All unused pods, creamers, food, etc. are to remain in the house.
Water cooler by the big oven: This is purified, distilled water that has had all impurities removed.
See our “Embrace Health” section on water. The very best you can drink. We invite you to use this water in your room Keurig. A water container is in your room refrigerator. Glasses are hanging on the racks.

Breakfast Foods:
We use the very best, fresh, organic ingredients. Our specialty is the pure, dark amber, organic maple syrup from Vermont. We offer a real southern breakfast. Those of us raised in the south relate heavily to the southern breakfast with childhood memories. Others have heard rumors. We do want to offer you the very best of an authentic Southern breakfast. But, since most are becoming aware that the Standard American Diet can create health issues, we also want to add those dishes that are either compromised with added healthier ingredients or an array of healthier choices. A meal with some foods that are not consistent with health is a choice we can make with 10% of the food we eat. Our daughter used the term, “once in a blue moon.” A blue moon meal (10%) can be tolerated. It is when we have too many blue moons that we might want to check out what we are eating on a daily basis.
1. Fruit bowl
2. Keurig coffee maker with creamers and sweeteners
3. Swiss Chocolate
4. Milk, (whole and almond)
5. Tea, hot from our automatic hot water pot
6. Endless snack bar includes packaged and homemade snacks
7. A southern breakfast along with oatmeal, fruits and nuts:
    a. Granola
    b. Soft, Fluffy scrambled eggs
    c. Hashbrown potatoes
    d. Side dish of sautéed veggies to turn your eggs into an omelet
    e. Toast and jam with no added sugar
    f. Real Southern biscuits
    g. Sausage Gravy
    h. Scrapple gravy (gravy made from the scraps of Roast Beef)
    i. Homemade preserves – sugar is from the fruit itself - served hot
    j. Pancakes
   k. The very best dark amber, organic, Vermont maple syrup (YUM!!!) served hot
    l. Ghee – Purified Butter that has had the fat solids removed
   m. Bacon
    n. Sausage
    o. Grits
    p. Oatmeal (Steel cut)
    q. Baked oatmeal and an array of great food
This is not the complete list of the foods we offer. Also, not all foods  will be on the buffet at the same time. But, your choice, whether southern with gravy or oatmeal with fruit, will set you off on another fine day.

Our Embrace Health Program helps those who want to learn about food, make some subtle changes in diet that can make a great deal of difference. Check out our Embrace Health section to learn about our classes whether group or individual. We offer on site lodging for those interested in a group or individual class on health or preserving your harvest.
